I had a real person from Berks Plumbing Specialists answer the phone. I explained what had happened. He assured me that someone would be at my home by 9 am. They arrived as promised at 9 am. When I answered the door, the guy said I'm Mike from Berks Plumbing and extended his had and we shook hands. Mike was very professional and told me what was wrong and they could fix it. I told him I would have to get the money together and would be in touch. He would have done it that day had I gotten back to him but it was after 5 pm till I got back and Mike said they would be here after 8 am. Shortly after 8 am, another plumber from the company showed up. We shook hands as well. He and another plumber replaced our well tank and took the old tank away and cleaned everything up before they left. They also fixed our one toilet. I had never dealt with Berks Plumbing Specialists before, but if I ever need plumbing work done, Berks Plumbing Specialists would be my choice. I would highly recommend them. Every aspect of the job was done in a rush and without quality I definitely felt like just a number to bust out a job and move on. I... read more would never recommend. The drain under my sink from the new water softener they installed is a 2in pvc, they spliced my drain leaving it open and did a 3/4in elbow down into it and zip tied to it so its just sitting there. I put tape over the opening of the pipe so it wasn't so exposed. (see attached pic) They changed the valve body on my shower and installed the plate behind the tub backwards and made the handle stick out super far and it looked ridiculous. When I questioned the service man he responded with "that's how it is, I've been doing this for 15 years if there was something I can do I would of." So I read the fixture's instructions and showed him its able to be installed differently depending on thick/thin walls. He stopped responding after I showed him the instructions that came with the fixture. He came back without saying a word. They installed a new furnace, when installed they didn't run a new electrical line, my old coal furnace had very old wiring, not sure if it even had a ground. The breaker box is about 3ft from the new furnace. When the furnace was turned on, it started an electrical fire. So they postponed when they would finish. The next day a different person from the same company finished the job and noticed the old wiring and said this needs to be new and they ran the new wire. The company they hired to remove my old furnace had every CO2 detector alarm going off in my 2 story house because they weren't using proper ventilation when using a torch to cut my old furnace. The ventilation they used was my personal box fan in the basement blowing out a door. This is just the major issues I had, I definitely wasn't pleased with multiple other aspects of the job.

They texted me 5 minutes later and worked around my schedule the next day to get... read more someone out since they were in the area. 45 minutes...from the time Michael walking in an introduced himself, to the time he and a couple other guys came in, to the time they left, they looked at the job, had a replacement toilet on hand, ripped the old one out and installed the new one! Fan-freakin-tastic!! All 3 guys very polite, professional, knew exactly what they were doing, and knowledgeable. Kudos. I will be a repeat customer for sure. Thanks guys!!👍
