I’m a first time homeowner, and I may not know any better and should’ve quote more plumbers before accepting the price. I chose them because they have a lot of... read more good reviews. I think I’m being overcharged for work done. I’m sharing my experience with this company. I need a drain work done, shut-off valve for hot and cold pipe, and tub and shower valve. The price was an outrageous $2700. All of these were done over 3 visits because they didn’t do the job right the first time. On the first visit, they did the drain but there was no new piping and it was just PVC pipe for the drain, and PVC pipes shouldn’t cost thousands. And they did put in a tub and shower valve. (See pics) So I check the back panel and there was no shut off valve for either pipe. On second visit they installed the shut-off valves. Then the shower flange came off and they told me to push it back against the wall. Huh?! On the third visit, they came back to secure the shower flange. In conclusion, I haven’t had to call them back for any mishaps due to their work since, however, my family couldn’t believe the price and think I’m being ripped off.

While cleaning our dog kennels overnight, our water stopped flowing out of the faucets. These kennels housed 20 dogs at the time. I had a real person from Berks Plumbing Specialists answer the phone. I explained what had happened. He assured me that someone would be at my home by 9 am. They arrived as promised at 9 am. When I answered the door, the guy said I'm Mike from Berks Plumbing and extended his had and we shook hands. Mike was very professional and told me what was wrong and they could fix it. I told him I would have to get the money together and would be in touch. He would have done it that day had I gotten back to him but it was after 5 pm till I got back and Mike said they would be here after 8 am. Shortly after 8 am, another plumber from the company showed up. We shook hands as well. He and another plumber replaced our well tank and took the old tank away and cleaned everything up before they left. They also fixed our one toilet. I had never dealt with Berks Plumbing Specialists before, but if I ever need plumbing work done, Berks Plumbing Specialists would be my choice. I would highly recommend them.
