ABOUT QUALITY
How Direct Exchange Geothermal Works
Direct Exchange geothermal systems comprise of copper tubes buried underneath, with no colossal outdoor or indoor unit. These coils will absorb the heat from earth and distribute the same in your house during the winters. On the contrary, they will enhance heat dissipation to the earth during the summer to stabilize the temperature levels inside your home. Owing to this, there is no need to install a secondary heat exchanger.
Fewer operational components are necessary to complete the setup
Electrical power consumption reduces by 70%.
Operating costs can be cut down significantly with a DX system.
Heat exchange will be much faster, thereby delivering speedy heating and cooling of the indoors.
Your HVAC system performs better

They made getting rid of a leaking water heater a breeze even though they had little to no room to work in. They also installed a brand new tankless water heater system. They were able to get the job done in a single day! 100% will be calling Berks for any future plumbing needs.Posted on Phuong TienTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’m a first time homeowner, and I may not know any better and should’ve quote more plumbers before accepting the price. I chose them because they have a lot of good reviews. I think I’m being overcharged for work done. I’m sharing my experience with this company. I need a drain work done, shut-off valve for hot and cold pipe, and tub and shower valve. The price was an outrageous $2700. All of these were done over 3 visits because they didn’t do the job right the first time. On the first visit, they did the drain but there was no new piping and it was just PVC pipe for the drain, and PVC pipes shouldn’t cost thousands. And they did put in a tub and shower valve. (See pics) So I check the back panel and there was no shut off valve for either pipe. On second visit they installed the shut-off valves. Then the shower flange came off and they told me to push it back against the wall. Huh?! On the third visit, they came back to secure the shower flange. In conclusion, I haven’t had to call them back for any mishaps due to their work since, however, my family couldn’t believe the price and think I’m being ripped off.Posted on Brandon MillerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Berks Plumbing & HVAC did a great job in resolving the plumbing issues at my property. Brian, Ethan, and Blake provided same day service and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their services.Posted on Josh KeimTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had an exemplary experience overall, quick response time through the whole process, I felt like a valued customer through and through. After they helped with a tub remodel, they came back to help me with another issue the next day and free of charge. Jose and Ethan were professional and great with our dog as they came in and out of the home. They left no mess behind a big job.Posted on Kim LechugaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Called after dinner time, pleasantly surprised to have someone answer the phone! Someone came the next morning and despite not getting the news I wanted, which was a quick easy answer, they had the guys here fixing my plumbing almost right away. Nice, non-intrusive, clean, and professional work. Can't ask for more than that. Great experience minus actually needing the repair work!

FAQ
Plumbing problems can be extremely frustrating, especially when it means you can’t use your toilet, sink, shower, or all of the above! Have plumbing questions?
How can I find a geothermal installer near me?
Check online reviews from past customers along with the industry expertise earned over the years to find the best geothermal HVAC installer. You can also contact ZyNex HVAC, your local geothermal solution provider in Berks and PA counties.
How does a geothermal heating and cooling system work?
Rather than utilizing fossil fuels or depending on the external temperature fluctuations, it depends on the earth. Heating and cooling of the rooms occur due to heat exchange with the stable temperature chamber underneath the ground.
Is geothermal heating and cooling environmentally friendly?
A geothermal HVAC system doesn’t use fossil fuels for its operations. Rather, the heat exchange occurs due to the temperature differences between the Earth and the interior rooms of your house. This further reduces your electric consumption, thereby offering eco-friendlier and sustainable solutions.
Can geothermal be installed in an existing home?
With geothermal HVAC specialists like ZyNex HVAC, you can install this system in your already-constructed house. Our experts will run a detailed analysis to determine the required size and capacity of the system before proposing custom solutions.
Is it possible to upgrade my current plastic geothermal loop to a copper loop?
If your geothermal system is equipped with plastic coils, the heat exchange efficiency won’t be as high as expected. So, connect with experts like Berks HVAC to replace these with pure copper coils.
Can my existing ducts and components be used with geothermal installation?
If you want to install a geothermal HVAC system, do not worry much as we will make the best use of the existing ducts and pipelines installed at your house previously.
What is the lifespan of copper geothermal loops?
The copper coils buried underneath are meant to last for a long. They are not exposed to wear and tear due to external corrosive elements, which is why they can last for 50+ years.
Will installing ground loops damage my yard or landscaping?
Although digging work will be required to install the copper coils underneath, we can assure you that your landscaping won’t be ruined completely.
